Brush your lace wig using your wig brush for straight hair or a wide tooth comb for curly hair to remove tangles. Comb the hair from the bottom and gently work your way up, this will ensure minimal shedding.
Add two tablespoons of wig shampoo to cold or lukewarm water, do not use hot water. Mix well.
Hold your lace wig by the center of the front of the hairline then, gently dunk the lace wig in and out of the water and swish it around the bowl making sure the hair is all going in one direction.
Again rinse your lace wig in lukewarm or cold water and do not use hot water.
Gently pat dry the lace wig with a dry towel.
Spray conditioner on the lace wig and leave conditioner on for 3 to 4 minutes.
Rinse and pat dry.
Place your lace wig on a Styrofoam head and spray a moisture mist and let the hair air dry. You can use a wide tooth comb to gently comb out any tangles.
- For synthetic hair, follow steps 1 – 8 but don’t comb the hair while it’s wet.
